doc: a new series of digital releases - documents of events, sound installations, field recordings and such.

DOC 001:
This album contains the unedited recording of three concerts performed in Singö church on August 4 2017 during Singö Musikfest (Singö - Music and Art). A few musicians from Stockholm met with audience mainly from the local community in Singö, and people coming from societies nearby, as well as from Stockholm.

During the fest musician and artist Tisha Mukarji, living in Berlin, worked together with Johan Arrias for a few days in the church with a new piece for the church organ and woodwinds. The work ended up with bringing in extra material to the work, like stones, hoses and water and also employing some additional musicians playing stones in the first of three parts.

The church is from around 1750 and is beautifully built from wood.

Singö is an island outside the Swedish coast in the municipality of Norrtälje.
